The ¡OLE! MAMAJUANA production process begins with the finest Dominican sugar cane being selected and milled. The juice is then extracted and fermented to obtain alcohol. The alcohol is distilled and later diluted with purified water to reach the proper level of alcohol by volume (ABV). 


The distilled rum alcohol is poured into American Oak barrels and aged to affect its colors and flavors.

The next stage of the process is where the mastery of our product comes in — the rum is mixed with selective barks, herbs and spices that provide the typical and special flavors of MAMAJUANA. These ingredients, in their right proportions, give ¡OLE! MAMAJUANA its unique effects and unparalleled flavor. You will note among the many ingredients from this maceration — white oak, rosewood, cinnamon, and vanilla.

After these flavors are extracted, this maceration is filtered to remove the liquid from the solid barks, herbs and spices. Purified water is added to dilute the product once again to arrive at the exact alcohol by volume level at which the MAMAJUANA is to be bottled, and at this point a modicum of honey is also added to the spirit. 

Finally, the finished product is filtered and bottled so that our customers can enjoy a product of the highest quality — ¡OLE! MAMAJUANA Premium.
